Glistening Cavern

"Glistening Cavern" is a "16"x40" original canvas painting created to encompass the raw nature of cavern walls. The stalactite pillars created using a mix of mediums from sand to clay paints hold so much texture and detail that viewing from different angles will continue to bring you a new experience as your eyes dance across the canvas. A subtle sheen was added to the pillars to resemble the water collecting and dripping off the stalactites. An unsuspecting glint of gold metallic adds a modern element to this earthly painting.
